McConnell to Dems over Kavanaugh vote: ‘I hope you learned your lesson’

Kavanaugh was bloodied but he prevailed. A lesson for us all.
Once again the democrats were exposed as unscrupulous shysters.

A side benefit of confirming Kavanaugh is that Republicans now see that they can win when they stand up against the Democrats. This is an invaluable lesson. Like a team that wins a big game, Republicans now realize that when united, they can play offense, score points and win.

Hope this leads to a permanent change in their mindset. Fight back or be resigned to losing.

To be honest, I think Barrett is far to moderate. And justices tend to move left with years.

When RGB finally starts sucking dirt we need a balls-to-the-wall, full on conservative hanging judge. Forget about being nice; the DemonRats will treat any nomination with utter contempt. So find a fire breathing 40-something conservative to take her place. To heck with being fair minded or polite to these monsters in DemonRat clothing. Civility is always veiwed as weakness by these shrill haters. Respond in kind.

Lesson learned: The Dems have to get all their ducks in a row on their character assassinations rather than just bringing one duck or even merely quacking at the Republicans to get them to give up.

You'd think they would have learned their lesson with Clarence Thomas, but it only emboldened them. What happened to Kavanaugh should never happen to another nominee. This crap has got to be stopped before it begins. Maybe reform of The Judiciary Committee rules are in order. Like when the female Dems walked out of the hearing last Friday, they should be shut out, and not allowed to come back in to vote, or at least have their salaries docked, or they should be fined. That's a form of protest, the same thing the NFL players are doing while on the time clock. Why should they get paid when they choose to protest on the job? No hard working American can get away with that.

Senators who refuse to meet with a nominee shouldn't be able to vote on anything related to that nominee.

There should be a cut-off date for any allegations to be brought forth to the Committee...not the night before the Committee votes to confirm or deny.

Maybe this Committee needs to be sequestered during the hearings, and confirmation process. Lock them up so they can't get a weak Republican in a room, and bully them into submission. That would frost the Dems nuggets for sure. I'd love to listen to them cry over that one.
