There was a healthy debate here during the 2016 primaries, but once Trump became the putative nominee, I think 98% of us realized that it was either vote for Trump in the general election or clear the way for the permanent end of any semblance of a constitutional republic in America. The #NeverTrumpers, however, led by the likes of Erick Erickson somehow could not see past the end of their noses, and did everything they could to sabotage Trump, thereby aiding and abetting the Clinton campaign.

But having essentially one of their own, Brett Kavanaugh, attacked by exactly the same people with exactly the same venom as Trump has been, has maybe slapped them across the face hard enough to jolt them into reality: the Democrat media complex will destroy everything in its path in its insane pursuit of totalitarian power, and the finer distinctions between a "principled conservative" and a "populist right-wing demagogue" mean nothing to them.

Given how slim the balance of power is in this country, we can certainly not afford to turn away any potential allies. But I for one will definitely keep a close eye on the quisling "conservatives" who would've had us living under Hillary Clinton right now, had they gotten their way.

a certain brand of Republican. They view Trump as anathema to their values, so they have abandoned their values.

"Their values" appear to be limited to No tariffs for any reason and always speak politely to Satan's minions. Mainly I think their problem is really that he said impolite but effective things to their favorites in the Primaries. They feel that the Trumpian epithets apply to them by propinquity.

One of Trump’s many many accomplishments is revealing just how many alleged Republicans actively wanted to lose.

I have no quarrel with those who in 2016 doubted Trump’s convictions. Nor with those even today who are unhappy with his use of Twitter. But the very best status that will ever be possible for people that actively campaigned against him during the general election will be “unreliable” — with few moving past “untrustworthy”. My sincere advice to the pundits pushing McMuffin is to shut up and find a real job.

When you listen to him speak at these rallies (like the one in Kansas tonight) there is no doubt in my mind he is going to run.

He loves this job. He loves fighting. And he loves saving the country he loves.

The uni party establishment loser also like to call Trump a Populist. I say THEY are the Popoulists. They only agree with what’s popular among the Elites.

Won’t worry about that. They seem to start becoming conservative 6 months before an election. How do you think McCain got elected over and over again....I mean aside from AZ being populated by gulable morons.
