President Donald Trump warned Sen. Lisa Murkowski that she might face political retribution for her decision to oppose his nominee to the Supreme Court, Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
“I think she will never recover from this,” Trump said. “I think the people from Alaska will never forgive her for what she did.”
The president commented about the process in an interview with the Washington Post that was published on Saturday.
Murkowski voted against cloture for Kavanaugh’s confirmation on Friday. (On Saturday, Murkowski voted “no” on confirmation and later withdrew her vote to be marked “present” so that her Republican colleague in the Senate could attend his daughter’s wedding.)

I wish people would stop saying Murkowski voted PRESENT. She did not vote PRESENT! She did not vote at all, she withdrew her vote. There is a big difference.
Keep shaming her on any bad vote. Force her out of the party.

She did NOT vote Present! She withdrew her vote of No, and that means she did not vote at all. There is a huge difference between voting present and not voting. It was as if she was gone from the Senate, the same as the dude from Montana!
That’s correct. She originally voted “no” and then later just before the vote total was announced, stood up and told the chair that since her “friend” Senator Daines wasn’t present and would have voted “yes”, she withdrew her vote.
No idea who will run against Murkowski in 4 years, but put me down as the first $100. donor to her opponent! At least from Missouri.//

That picture of Palin makes me so happy! I continue to pray for and await her vindication...and God’s revenge on everyone who sought to destroy her. She is NOT done.

She has proven what she is, she’ll just crossed the aisle and change party status to Independent. She’ll be done in 2022 but that may be in the cards regardless if she stays a Republican.
