Democrats are feeling confident about winning a net of 23 seats needed to control the House. Already, Republicans are pulling money from several districts they had initially hoped could be within their grasp.

Republicans are suffering particular problems among highly educated voters who live outside urban centers like Kansas City, Philadelphia and Denver.

The National Republican Congressional Committee pulled about $1 million in planned spending from the 3rd Congressional District in Kansas, where Rep. Kevin Yoder is running for re-election. Outside groups have also been pulling ads from districts held by Rep. Barbara Comstock, R-Va., and Rep. Mike Coffman, R-Colo., an indication that they no longer see those races as competitive.

“If the Democratic base gets any more excited they may have to seek medical attention,” said Corry Bliss, who runs the Congressional Leadership Fund, which is aligned with House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin to preserve the House GOP majority. “In the last week things have undeniably improved in our polling. Republican intensity and excitement are through the roof. Now we need to keep the trend going for the next few weeks.”

As the Senate races move right, the GOP is starting to commit increasingly more funds to house races.

I realize that the House and Senate have different electoral dynamics.

But with that said, how is it that the two houses are trending in opposite directions? Yes, the Democrats have more Senate seats to defend--especially in "Red" states. But aren't Democrat voters more concentrated? Who cares if the GOP candidate loses a district centered on Manhattan by 20 points instead of 10?

That makes no sense. How does one vote Repub for the Senate and Dem for the House? Nice try WaPo.

What we saw with the Kavanaugh hearings is a highly organized, Soros sponsored effort to seize control of our government. Our side isn't organized, nor do we have billionaires sprinkling WAM money to street cretins to act out. The midterms are crucial to our independence and we need to win this the old fashioned way, vote by vote. I'm holding my nose and working for the GOP every day until 11/6. Why? Because our enemies Will.Not.Stop.

Please join with me today.

I don’t see 23 seats going blue. Maybe 10-12.

Typical ridiculous wishful thinking.

Not seeing it. I see Ds getting 8-15 pickups, but many, many of those are fluid and in fact most are moving toward Rs.

It would take some stunning surprises for the Ds to take the House.

I’m thinking the antics of the Dems are going to create a lot of straight ticket voters. I know it’s going to take me about 30 seconds to vote.

Because of scheduled surgery that will make it unlikely that I will be able to vote at my precinct on Nov 6, I am absentee voting this year for the first time in my life.

Also for the first time in my life, I am voting straight Republican Party.

The GREEN wave only helps Trumps economic numbers.

It isn’t going to get more Dems elected.

We’re going to gain in the Senate and hold the House - just barely. People are still afraid to tell strangers they’re backing Republicans - we poll light.

I just re-read an October 2016 article regarding Kankles’ imminent massive landslide all the fake news polls predicted. It was supposed to be a historic massacre of the vulgarian Donald Trump.

The article said she was so far ahead in the polls she “wasn’t even thinking about Donald Trump anymore.” “I’m not going to waste my time responding to anything Donald has to say anymore,” blah blah blah. She was busy picking out her cabinet, lackeys and other Kankle -lickers.

We shall see what we shall see!!! I believe momentum is in favor of the GOP. I believe we are going to increase our majority in the Senate and keep the House.

BUT WE ALL HAVE TO DO OUR PART!! Donate to your local GOP House rep’s campaign, sign up to volunteer to get out the vote. Get off the couch, turn off the TV, get out and get involved!
