Its about distribution not total. Depth without breadth equals losses.
If 4 districts are 75 dem and 25% republican. And 6 districts are 55r and 45 d... ds Have more voters in that set, but only get 3 out of the 9 districts, Republicans get 6.
Dems have DEPTH in very limited geographic areas. rs Have far more breadth.
Dems were on path to get the house until Kavanaugh chaos, now no way
2012 they were a well oiled machine and the R's looked the other way. 2016 they got a bit complacent and arrogant and didn't prepare as well.
I am not sure where we are now.
Any new House polls out there post-Kavanaugh? I just don’t see a feasible path for the Dems to take the House with the Senate races all moving decidedly in the direction of the Republicans post-Kavanaugh.
