A lawyer with ties to the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clintons campaign passed on documents about Russian election meddling to the FBIs general counsel during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to a report Thursday.
James Baker, who was formerly the top lawyer at the FBI, told congressional investigators about the exchange in a closed-door deposition on Wednesday, the Daily Caller reported.
Mr. Baker said he received the documents as well as computer storage devices on Russian hacking from Michael Sussmann, an attorney with Perkins Coie.
Testifying before a joint session of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees, Mr. Baker said Mr. Sussmann approached him. The contact was initiated before the FBI and Justice Department applied for a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant for key Trump campaign figure Carter Page, according to the Daily Callers report.
Mr. Baker was instrumental in obtaining the warrants for Mr. Page.
Reportedly, Mr. Baker told lawmakers it was unusual that he was contacted by Mr. Sussmann and it only happened once.
After the Daily Caller report surfaced, one House Judiciary Committee member, Rep. Mark Meadows, North Carolina Republican, said Mr. Bakers testimony was explosive.
Some of the things that were shared were explosive in nature, Mr. Meadows said in a Fox News interview. The witness confirmed that things were done in an abnormal fashion. Thats extremely troubling. Perkins Coie was key in funding the salacious anti-Trump dossier compiled by opposition research firm Fusion GPS. In April 2016, Perkins Coie connected Fusion GPS with the DNC and Clinton campaign to compile the dossier, which was shared with the FBI later that year.

This article, based on testimony of James Baker, describes connecting Perkins Coie, the Hillary Campaign and Fusion GPS concerning the Russian Collusion Dossier. And eventually it going to the FBI.
All of this has been know for a while but James Baker's testimony lends credibility to it.
Some backgound on James Baker:
Hours later, James Baker is removed from his responsibilities as legal counsel within the FBI. Cause: unknown.
Backgound on Michael Sussman:
A Perkins Coie spokesperson released a statement saying Mr. Sussmann worked in the Department of Justice as a cybercrime prosecutor for both Democratic and Republican administrations and is regularly retained by clients to handle cybersecurity matters.
Anyone other than hillary would be in jail.
Those who have opposed the clintons: Vince Foster. Ron Brown.
I think it is a much Hill & Bill’s handlers as it is them.
Same HS as Cory Booker. Northern Valley in Old Tappan NJ. Coincidence?
Lots of not obvious connections.
I don’t believe in Coincidence.
This tidbit was given up as part of some plan and we have no idea what the spin being presented is. The fact is I dont see any coherent narrative that leads to anything but wait on the IG report and people like Baker saying things like highly unusual.
At some point someone has to explain the endgame here. This goes on and on. The facts are available , so whats the endgame besides 4D BS.
A few more names added to this massive conspiracy of high treason.
Too bad we don’t have a DOJ
That could change.
The plan is clear. Many of the players are still hidden.
Then “end game”? Globalist Totalitarian Government is the end game.
The enemy of all free people intends to enslave the world.
It was known and documented 2,000 years ago.
It is the same old battle.
There’s some sort of mexican standoff going on with Trump and Mueller. If you drop the impeachment report, I’ll release the FISA docs, etc. and vice versa.
I’m just hoping that the dems don’t win the house or senate because all of this will be buried. Trump will then be paralyzed to make any changes at the DOJ. More so than he is now.
No, much of that is exposed. The issue is still the unseen elements of the opposition who will do anything to stay in power. It is HUGE, (not overstated)
I think Mueller is pretty exposed and same with “Russia Russia Russia”. But this is not a bi-directional conflict.
Mueller has almost nothing on Trump or his administration.
Trump and others have huge issues exposed with the opposition.
To bad Mueller is wasting tax layer money investigating the wrong people.
Yes, it is.
Mueller is part of the wrong people. And he may think he is actually not part of it.
“Mueller has almost nothing on Trump or his administration.”
A long laundry list of ‘crimes and obstruction of justice’ and he’s just waiting for the right time to deliver it to congress.
This has been confirmed from the likes of Joe DiGenova. Not that I needed it confirmed, that was mueller’s mission from the get-go. And Mueller has the backing of the corrupt state, both parties, corrupt courts and the fakestream media.
Thus, my statement above.
just as there was no FakeNewsMSM coverage of all the explosive details concerning Dr. Ford/McLean/FBI etc., there is no FakeNewsMSM coverage of the Clinton actual collusion with foreign agents/Russia/FBI/etc.
with the Kavanaugh business out of the way, there needs to be more attention paid to the Spygate revelations already available to the public by FR and everyone in the non-FakeNews media, until there’s a groundswell that forces a special counsel or whatever to investigate the attempt to prevent Trump becoming president, and later to effect a coup to end his presidency.
The special counsels reason for being is 3 fold:
1) Embroil the Trump administration with indictments-scandals with the ultimate goal of toppling(impeachment-resignation)
2) Use the SC to bury the mountain of high crime evidence against Hillary & the Omuslim regime.
3) Show the people what happens if you want to go to work for the Trump administration...Youll be crucified by the propaganda press and indicted by a soviet-style special counsel. Your house raided in the dark of the night by the goose-steppers of the FBI.
I do not believe it.
“Joseph diGenova (born February 22, 1945) is an American attorney who served as the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia from 1983 to 1988. He is known for promoting conspiracy theories about the Department of Justice and the FBI”
Wikipedia bias strikes, again!
