UFC Fighter Derrick Lewis reportedly told the crowd in Las Vegas that President Donald Trump called him prior to his bout to offer words of encouragement against a foreign adversary.

He went out of his way to endorse Trump at a pre-fight press conference in 2016 also.
Funny thing, no mention in the coverage that he’s black.
He’s a black man.
He’s a black man who supports President Trump.
A Google search ordinarily turns up both articles and a row of images for any kind of public figure.
Google’s “impersonal, impartial algorithms” isn’t doing that for this fighter’s name.
And the top news is all about how the fighter won, or made his comeback win.
No sign that he supports President Trump.

Lewis is always hilarious in his post fight interviews. One time he wrapped up the interview by calling out his wife, saying “I’m coming home baby, so get ready, cause I’m goin’ deep tonight!”. Last night, after his KO victory, he appeared on Fox Sports, where Karyn Bryant asked him what was next for him. He said “well tonight I’m gonna throw my wifes legs up in the air and we’ll see what happens from there”. Karyn was speechless for a moment, but laughed and took the locker room talk like a champ.

The DON could have told Lewis to “rip him to shreds’ or even worse “take his head off’ or some other awful phrases of sports encouragement.
