I agree with the article’s author.
Avenatti is a convenient scapegoat for the MSM. Ford’s accusation was as credible as Avenatti’s client’s accusation of gang rapes. I.e., neither were supported by a shred of evidence.

None of it was about the truth.

It was all about politics. Trump could have nominated any one else and the Rats would have still opposed him or her.

All the rest are rationalizations to hide the political nature of it behind something more high-minded.

When you get right down to it, the Democrats were never going to accept a Trump nominee. Period.
