Lena Dunham has revealed she suffers from fibromyalgia.
The star, 32, opened up about living with the disorder in a candid Instagram post she shared with her followers on Saturday, revealing her symptoms were 'activated' a day after Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Fibromyalgia is a disorder associated with widespread pain throughout the body, and impacts mostly women.

'On the day after Dr. Ford's testimony I awoke with a start at 3am. It felt like every cell in my neck was singing. My ankles and wrists were weak and my fingers didn't do their assigned job.
'Yesterday I felt like I was suspended in gel, and when I meditated a line of pain zipped from my neck to my foot. I'm sorry if I don't answer your text or email, or if I can't show up the way someone else would. I appear to be totally able bodied but it's complex, and I am just trying to do everything required to maintain a life of joy and service.

I found myself suffering from nausea, vomiting, headaches, and stomach cramps. Symptoms went away when I stopped looking at pictures of Lena Dunham.

In a year or two you will find out that she is a junkie.
At about 86 or so, my mother was diagnosed with fibromyalga. She denied she had it because “she never heard of such a thing”. Additionally, she was a strong believer in hereditry ailments and none of her aunts or cousins etc suffered from the ailment.
It was a hard time trying to convince her

Listen, people have serious struggles with the pain inflicted. I have a co-worker who comes into work sometimes quietly crying to herself. I myself am wondering if I will be diagnosed by elimination with fibromyalgia, which is the only way they do it.

Actually, yes I was. I had quite a following of fibro patients. I took care of them. They told their friends. I really helped them. I never made any effort to really capitalize on that. The reason I became such an expert was because I literally read everything published about it so I could understand it and learn how to help them. I have no doubt that if I were a different person and did some marketing (which I consider unethical for a physician) I could have become quite wealthy.
