Related to question 2 is “why on earth would we listen to the media’s advice on persecuting people like Brett Kavanaugh when 41% of women in media, the highest of any white collar industry, report being sexually harassed at work?”

All of the attention on people like Judge Kavanaugh looks like a diversionary tactic to me. I have zero expectation that the industry that has made so much money over-sexualizing society has our best interests at heart.

The "casting couch" is not only in Hollywood. You have lots of attractive women competing to get the slot in front of the camera. It would not be surprising if a number of them decide that sleeping with the guy who makes the pick is the way to get there.
