SOFIA, Bulgaria -- A television journalist has been raped and murdered in Bulgaria's northern town of Ruse, prosecutors and a minister said Sunday, in a case that has shocked fellow journalists and sparked international condemnation. The body of 30-year-old Viktoria Marinova was found on Saturday close to a jogging path by the Danube, Ruse prosecutor Georgy Georgiev said. The death was caused by blows to the head and suffocation and most probably occurred in broad daylight, he added.
"Her mobile phone, car keys, glasses and part of her clothes were missing," Georgiev said, adding that prosecutors were probing all leads -- both personal and linked to Marinova's job.
Interior Minister Mladen Marinov later confirmed to journalists that the victim had also been raped.

Diane Feinstein thinks she knows who did it, and will be demanding that the FBI get involved ...
Sad. RIP.
No woman can jog anywhere alone. Don’t they get this by now?
Not until she finds out where Bill was first.
EU sent out a hit; they had to rape her to make it look otherwise.
2 or 3 Muslimes..20’s.
Probably killed her and then raped her.
Yes, they need to be accompanied by my friends Smith and Wesson or Sig Sauer.
I read the whole article - definitely a hit. Poor thing. The rare investigative journalist is always going to be at huge risk. Too much corruption, too many dirty elites on the global gravy train.
“Taken”
It was not a Action film, it really happens.
Yow.
The left would go nuts if this was from Fox News instead of CBS.
That could easily be just a dumping spot, not the crime scene.
Could be Islamists; could be EU operatives.
Investigating and exposing alleged fraud involving EU funds used by big businessmen and politicians is likely to be what got her killed.
