Justice Ginsberg is an old woman. Old people can feel cold when everyone else is comfortable. My late mother, who was 99, kept the heat up very high in her apartment. It can’t be helped, it’s just how it is, and if we live to be that old, it will be the same for us. That said, inspire of reports of her workouts, it is plain to see that she really isn’t up for the job she has. I’m sure it galls her, the idea of President Trump picking her replacement, but her duty to the Court, the law and our country pretty much requires it.
I noticed Thomas had to help her up. She couldn’t stand.

That said, I was elated that most of the callers to c-span were happy that the process had triumphed over the disorder, even several of those who said they were Democrats. And I was personally very impressed with the way the President handled the event, especially his little civics lecture about the vital importance of our system of laws and that we live in a constitutional republic! (I'm sick to death of the MSM talking meme, “our democracy.”)
And of course I'm greatly relieved with the final outcome of the confirmation vote and the heroics of the Senators who put their careers and personal safety on the line to get this critical plank of MAGA in place.
As of now, I don't expect Kavanaugh to be a conservative wonderboy on the Court, but rather a centrist who may frustrate us from time to time; and am rather skeptical of so-called Jesuit education. But once Kavanaugh was that far down the pipeline towards confirmation and the Evil Party unleashed the dogs of war on the guy at the eleventh hour, tearing up the bedrock principles of due process and the presumption of innocence—and in the absence of any evidence or proof—he simply had to be confirmed.

I saw Reverend Franklin Graham, talking with Kay Coles James, President of Heritage Foundation. Jim Acosta was looking like he swallowed a cow. Loved how enthusiastically Justice Thomas was applauding and making eye contact with various people, such as Kavanaugh's parents and White House attorney McGahn.
I can remember some of them who never stood up for us.

You know what I wish? I wish she’d keel over tonight and Trump could put a conservative on the court who MIGHT, someday, be able to help overturn the idiot law that allows selfish women to murder their own babies.
