Anyone who buys E10 or E15 is a fool

That's a foolish comment.

“Trump playing the farmers for the mid terms and then will change his mind.”

Sure Bommer, whatever you say.

Yep. Nothing wrong with fuel ethanol except it’s greatly inferior to the petroleum product. A thrifty consumer with a newer vehicle can save money by calculating the lost mpg vs. lower price (if there is any). Perhaps the only benefit of ethanol is actually the cap it puts on gasoline prices, at least for some consumers.

For my cars, it’s a wash ... the higher price of 100% dino fuel over E10 offsets its slightly better gas mileage.

I have a 1999 Ranger with a “Flex Fuel” engine. I’ve tried running it on E0, E10, and E85. There’s actually a very slight cost savings with the E85, but to me it’s not worth the greatly reduced gas mileage to use it.

This business of ethanol fuel ‘rotting the rubber parts’ in a modern automotive engine designed for ethanol fuel is rot.

Maybe he isn’t, eh? I mean, he’s got a track record of winning a presidential election against all odds, unlike everyone else here.

It’s not about sticking your finger in the wind. It’s about balancing priorities, and I don’t see how wedging your voters away in key state over an extremely low priority national issue while the Chinese are already targeting farmers over his trade policies helps him more than it hurts him. I don’t think giving the rats an issue to help them rebuild their blue midwest wall ahead of 2020 is very wise right now.

You want to see him open up battles on every front right now while we’ve already got our hands full battling the communists on the most crucial issues. How about we pile on SS and Medicare reform before 2020 too? At least those are more important than ethanol.

Every day I wake up I’m glad to have a smarter tactician as president than many of the armchair presidents here will ever give him credit for. Have a nice day yourself.

Ah, there are those words ‘all suicides’.

I crumble before your superior knowledge, intellect, and debating prowess.

Guess my continued contact with real farmers after my own retirement from farming is meaningless.

Bad move Mr. President.

This is a waste of taxpayer money and a gigantic giveaway to corporate farmers.
