Not hard to imagine that Trump wants either Ivanka or Jared in the position. He can't afford to appoint any GOP Senator as of now. This will be interesting.
A couple of years ago, I said Kimberly Guilfoyle would become head of the RNC, but that's off the table now. Personally, I'd like to see Daniel Greenfield get an advisory role somewhere in the Admin.

No, anyone who has paid any attention knows that. That is how Jared has been registered, with Ivanka a registered independent, but with them both donating and pontificating for years for the usual Manhattan Democrat line for years.

Jared I suspect is as others have said an opportunist like his dad. But certainly they are both loyal to Trump. Just often IMO misguided and a real mixed bag — legitimately both bad and good — in what they have brought to his admin.

People who don’t care about the USA enjoy the rush of scheming and conniving. But a patriot can neglect certain aspects of his/her life.

I look at his website daily and I see nothing but anti Trump storys nowadays.
Many of them are speculative in nature so this ‘he’s just a news aggregator’ nonsense is not valid.
When Trump first took office it was reported that Drudge had visited him (possibly multiple times). Is there some sort of master strategy? I can’t work it out if there is.
But he certainly seems to have gone sour on Trump. I find it very frustrating.
But never sour on Jared and Ivanka—he never misses a puff piece about them!
He’s been warned about losing his empire, he’s likely blackmail material, and I think I read some scuttlebutt about him having a liberal boyfriend these days.
But he’s somehow tied into the Javanka PR machine.
