Nikki Haley: 'I am not running for 2020'

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Tuesday dismissed speculation she is open to challenging President Trump for the Republican presidential nomination in 2020.

"For all of you that are going to ask about 2020, no, I am not running for 2020. I can promise you what I'll be doing is campaigning for this one," Haley told reporters gathered in the Oval Office. "I look forward to supporting the president in the next election."

Haley has been touted as a future Republican presidential candidate given her track record as South Carolina governor from 2011 to 2017. She has additionally impressed critics with her job representing the U.S. at the U.N. after some expressed doubt she had the foreign policy credentials for the role.

During her White House visit Tuesday, Haley said she was leaving the Trump administration because she believed in "term limits."

The field for 2024is so strong I don’t see Nikki having any chance.

In my view we need to continue with someone with an incorruptible spirit who resents the cushy lifestyle of politicians. Sheriff Clarke would be my choice

Haley should not be running for President ever. She is NOT NBC and so is NOT Constitutionally qualified. You cannot support the Constitution and ignore the NBC clause.

This NBC thing came up with Bobby Jindal, Cruz and Floridan Cuban Rubio....they all seemed to be given some green light and meet NBC. I think Haley falls into their same category.

BOTH parties want to eliminate the natural protections of the natural born citizen requirement.
Those who value the Constitution should not go along, like the GOP did with the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
Seems like people would have learned from that experience.

Not me - I’m hoping I’m gone by that time - have no desire to see a woman in the WH and that’s not sexism as I am a female. Nikki Haley is one of the few females I can tolerate today - the rest set my teeth on edge no matter what field (preferably deep center, really deep) they are in. I will soon be down to cartoons as I have to leave any TV channel that has a whiney, nasaly female voice on....FOX got rid of one of the worst and now it seems they dug up about 5 others with the same irritating voice to replace her.

I do not like her and do not trust her. She was the weak link that allowed the maniacs to obliterate a lot of the history of the Confederacy and southern traditions. She's much more a globalist than a nationalist. I wouldn't even be surprised if she's part of the coup. She certainly did nothing that would hold ISIS responsible for the chemical attacks in Syria; she consistently blamed Assad.

I hope President Trump can find someone who's a loyal Deplorable and not part of the Globalist agenda.
