Don’t need a wall. Just deny any benefits. They’ll self deport. Churches and other so-called sanctuaries will tire of have to clothe, feed, care for them.
and we have the means to catch anyone trying to cross the border if we had the will. It would be an excellent training ground for the military, and/or just expand the ICE border security.

So that the next time we end up with a Dubya or an Obama or some other nitwit whose allegiance is somewhere else it will be that much more difficult for them to throw the whole border open.
And once we get the Wall we need deportation, mass deportation so that California can be liberated from its current state of occupation.
Plus deny them employment. Utilize SS and IRS records to force employers to only hirer legals. Authorize road program to make border accessible.
Remember back when it seemed like every week or so, some bus full of Israeli citizens was being blown up by a Palestinian in an explosive vest? I do. Suddenly it just stopped - when Israel finished building a double-row of border fence with triple rows of concertina wire at the top - and a patrol road between the fences. Honestly, we've already shown for decades now that we don't have the collective will to really turn the screws on illegals, I don't see us maintaining such policies long enough to set a "self-deportation" movement in motion.

No the wall is a tangible thing that shows the citizen the govt is following the will of the people and in this case it’s to secure the border. The wall is so important it’s a barrier and a symbol. We need the great Wall of Trump. It’s a big deal
Yes I totally agree. ACTUALLY all welfare / foodstamps / assistance should be turned back to the churches. The state could get a block set amount of money to distribute to individuals that come to those churches that want to take on the headache. If people had to go to a church for their food, and make it a food pantry, not an EBT loaded card, but had to actually go to a food pantry type place, food stamp use would drop drastically.
