Kennedy wrote after the last hearing that he thought Kavanaugh shouldn’t be on the court as his “angry” defense of the false charges was too partisan.

I know John Paul Stevens said something like that. I can't find where Kennedy did.

Thanks- I would expect that from Stevens, from Kennedy I’d be surprised.

Oh crap - you’re right - Stevens. I was trying to figure how why Kavanaugh would have still had Kennedy at the ceremony. I figured it was one of those polite and decent things to do - protocol and such. That makes me feel much better!

And then soon after Steven’s spouts off, Kagen and Soutemeyer gave some talk on how the “swing vote” was going away. Showing that as much as the court may say that they aren’t partisan - they kinda sort-of are.
