As with “collegiality” in Congress, “civility” is just shorthand for taking what the leftists dish out and replying “Please, sir, I’d like some more.”

Sundar Pichai, Google CEO, presides over a high tech anti-America company, spewing agit-prop bent on destroying our democratic process.
He thumbed his nose at America refusing to testify over this issue before the US Congress recently, preferring to fly back to India.
Pichai is disloyal to the American system of justice, the American electoral system, and the US Constitution.

======================================

(hat tip nickednack)

<><> these tech companies should be broken up using existing anti-trust laws which are more than adequate for the task,

<><> they should be categorized as any other 1st Amendment platform, not an open forum,

<><> they should lose their Section 230 liability protections under the Communications Decency Act,

<><> all banned, suspended, shadow banned, or demonized conservatives should sue the panties off these weak-titted SJ fascists.

If you’re using Google products, you’re not paying attention. GMail, Android phones, their search engine: they’re all connected back to the behemoth that is Google. Apple has proven to be a bit better about protecting privacy, and unless you want to go back to the old Nokia flip phone days, there’s really no other viable competitor in the phone market these days.

Stop using Google!

RE:”The briefing associates Google’s new role as the guarantor of “civility” with the categories of “editor” and “publisher.” This is significant, given that Google, YouTube, and other tech giants publicly claim they are not publishers but rather neutral platforms — a categorization that grants them special legal immunities under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act”

This needs to be investigated.

“American tradition of free speech”

SERIOUSLY???? It’s one helluva lot more than an “American tradition”.

...the “American tradition” of free speech on the internet is no longer viable...

And that's where it starts. How long until they start saying the same thing about main street, or at the ballot box... While they may not be saying it openly (yet), I am certain there are many 'rat & leftists thinking it.

Go ahead Google, Facebook, Apple, et. al., adopt some "limited" censorship. While you're at it, why don't you burn a few books - well, in the modern age delete a few posts, exclude a few search results. Things like that. For the good of the proletariat. Er... I mean people, yeah, that's it. :-/

I wonder if they have any idea just how much they sound like (and in broad strokes are repeating the actions of) European fascists in the 1930s? {literally shaking my head} {expletive}...here we go again, really people? Are we destined to fight the same battles against the same bad ideas and ideals again?

Doesn’t matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it’s done just how I say

Freedom of choice is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception

They really think they are special. Trump was right about them.

FTA: Another example of “users behaving badly” is a tweet by Donald Trump
during his 2016 campaign, which accused Google of biasing its search
engine to favor Hillary Clinton. This claim was backed up by independent
research, but Google’s briefing labels it a “conspiracy theory.”

This is one of the first steps of their master plan to turn the United States into a totalitarian state of “their beliefs.” Like communists all around the world, other people’s opinions do not matter. It has to be their way or they want to lynch you. They ever get total control, hell will reign. This is the road America is going down. Hell awaits what is left of this nation. This nation is the next Venezuela.

The left is now revealing who they truly are and what they are planning. I bet they know Trump is about to show his hand; a royal flush. They’ve been caught red handed with evidence to prove it. They know it and will try to cause violence, chaos, and fear. God be with us and protect our country. If they plan a civil war, I pray Trump has already called out the military. They probably need to be screened too.

Google 1984. An internal company briefing produced by Google and leaked exclusively to Breitbart News argues that due to a variety of factors, including the election of President Trump, the “American tradition” of free speech on the internet is no longer viable. Despite leaked video footage showing top executives declaring their intention to ensure that the rise of Trump and the populist movement is just a “blip” in history, Google has repeatedly denied that the political bias of its employees filter into its products.

“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”

I realized that in her attempt to be relevant again it’s something more this time; Hillary is actually jumping on the “get in their face” bandwagon. “Listen up America! There will be no civility until you give the Democrats some power back. I’ll wait until 2020 to take the presidency but by God we better get either the house and/or the Senate this fall or there will be hell to pay!” This is clearly a bribe: if you want an end to the mayhem, put an end to the Republican control of government.

“In these strange and troubling times, it is hard to speak unpalatable truths to power, but I believe we all still have a duty to do so,” Steele wrote. “I salute those on your list, and otherwise, who have had the courage to speak out over the last year, often at great personal cost.

There are absolutely pockets of rage – violent enclaves studded with people who are nothing more than domestic terrorists. Full-on fascists who unironically call themselves anti-fascists.

In Portland yesterday, some people in masks (and some who brazenly went without them) took over a major intersection and “directed” traffic, shouting obscenities and racial slurs toward white drivers. An elderly man became fearful and drove through them. They chased him down and began striking his vehicle with batons and rocks. AN OLD MAN. They were within minutes of beating him, according to reports. Meanwhile, the police “monitored” the situation from a distance, allowing the mob free reign. (Read more at Zero Hedge.) Near Portland, arsonists actually set fire to a truck bearing a couple of pro-Trump stickers.

In Kentucky, Senator Rand Paul’s wife sleeps with a gun. Fear is now a constant companion for her. She wrote an open letter to Senator Corey Booker that was published on CNN, calling him out for urging people to “get up in Congresspeoples’ faces.” Booker isn’t the only member of Congress who is inciting violence, either. Judicial Watch has filed an ethics complaint against Representative Maxine Waters for “inciting violence and assaults on the Trump Cabinet.”
