Gottlieb said the training requirement in Maryland “imposes a burden on a citizen’s ability to exercise his or her Second Amendment rights.” This is more than a burden. This is a PROHIBITIVE burden.
This 30 day training requirement is designed to be more than a deterrent it is designed with the knowledge that few people will be willing or able to devote the time and expense to complete the training.

Especially the expense. I think I spent around $90 for a few hours of concealed carry. But 30 DAYS??? What's THAT gonna cost??
