I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Turkey used to be a great secular parliamentary democracy. Since Erdogan took over he's steered the nation away from that, with constitutional changes giving him personally more and more power. Parlaimentary? Not anymore, there's no prime minister because he absorbed that power himself. Democracy? Well, this doesn't seem like the sort of thing democracies do but sure seems to fit what you'd expect a dictator to:

A democracy is mob rule. if enough people decide we are a nation of blue nosed pigs, well, blue nosed pigs rule. In turkey, moslem took over, what Erdogan did did not happen in a vacum. They are now subjects of dear leaders own style of sharia.
