This reminds me of Jimmy Carter's role in Venezuela. He and his foundation were hired to "validate" Hugo Chavez's election. He wasn't allowed into the election headquarters, his people weren't allowed to inspect any of the vote counts... there was widespread and gross vote fraud (and no recounts allowed...)
And yet he stood in front of the cameras minutes after the polls closed and pronounced the elections fair and honest. Its what he was paid to do, and he did it. Oh, and then he accused GW Bush of stealing the election as he stood there in Caracas on Hugo's dime.

Nixon was not happy that he lost, he knew that the Kennedys had cheated, but still never challenged the result - whatever his other faults may have been, the man was a patriot and did not believe it to be even remotely in the nation’s interest to have that kind of an internal squabble in the middle of the Cold War.
They would have been very afraid Candidate Trump would expose a lot of election fraud challenging the election.

Did the Obama political clan actually believe it was illegal or in any way unconstitutional for a candidate to question a reported presidential election result?
How could they think that, even Gore and Clinton didn’t think there was anything wrong with such a notion in 2000!!!
Obviously, it was not any illegality or unconstitutional matter that the Obama team thought was inherent in a challenge of the election results. It was just another way, besides the Russian-collusion hoax, that they were trying to thwart Trump.
I just figured, when Trump didn’t immediately pump up the ‘Russians meddled in the election’ meme, that he was reticent because he knew it was China that tried to influence the election. The Russians may have too, but theirs was negligible.
