Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) told nationally-syndicated radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt on Tuesday that Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-New York) and his "political operation" was behind the leaking of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford "from the very beginning."

SEN. TOM COTTON (R-ARKANSAS): Hugh, I believe the Schumer political operation was behind this from the very beginning. We learned last week that a woman named Monica McLean was Ms. Ford’s roommate, and she was one of the so-called beach friends who encouraged Ms. Ford to go to Dianne Feinstein and the partisan Democrats on the Judiciary Committee. Well, it just turns out, it just so happens that Monica McLean worked for a Preet Bharara, the former U.S. Attorney in Manhattan, now a virulent anti-Trump critic on television and former counsel to Chuck Schumer. So I strongly suspect that Chuck Schumer’s political operation knew about Ms. Ford’s allegations as far back as July and manipulated the process all along to include taking advantage of Ms. Ford’s confidences and directing her towards left-wing lawyers who apparently may have violated the D.C. code of legal ethics and perhaps may face their own investigation by the D.C. Bar.
HH: Now when we have a summing up of the consequences of this in four weeks at the polls, I don’t believe Americans are going to forget. I think they’re going to vote to make sure Mitch McConnell remains the leader in the Senate, and Kevin McCarthy the new speaker in the House. So actually, it was Ford’s beach friend Monica McLean who leaked the info to someone who could get it to Schumer’s people.

Is it a crime? What are they going to do about it? Talk is getting very cheap lately. If they continue to ignore the rule of law whats the result? I am really starting to wonder.

Mueller is applying this in the Russian Concord case. Can it be applied against the Democrats who delayed Kavanaugh’s confirmation with phony accusations after the hearing was completed, or other deep state people who are slowing down FOIAs or other functions of government?
I think Dr. Ford was behind the release of Dr. Ford’s letter. It was part of the plan that she, Feinstein, et al., concocted months ago. It was intended to be used against whichever person Trump nominated.

I don’t think Ford used Schumer, Feinstein, etc. She used them for political activism as much as they used her to gain power. It was a deal they both went in to with eyes wide open.

It damn well better come out. She has to be shown as the liar she is. If that doesn’t happen, the same stuff will be used during (1) Kavanaugh’s impeachment, and (2) the next SCOTUS confirmation hearings.
I think the lie that ticked me off the most was her wavering, teensy, voice saying that she didn’t know how to contact a Senator. Every Senator on that committee had to know she was lying, yet they had to maintain poker faces so as not to appear to attack her. She was laughing at them, and at their stupidity for believing her.
Lets hope that people keep the pressure on her. Of course, they will cry foul because “she was assaulted.”

Speaking of schumer, who IS that woman that sits at his left every time he give a speech on the floor? She does absolutely nothing - she looks like a robot. Can someone clue me in? Thanks.

Also, maybe the Senate is laying low until after the elections, and then they’ll begin an investigation of her in earnest. It could get sticky for them if there’s a perception of them “attacking” her.
