Not everyone or everything is black and white. Cosby did have the smarts and guts to call-out blacks on how pathetic ghetto culture is. He understood that hard work and marriage were the keys to obtaining a middle class lifestyle. That Cosby also was known for decades to cheat on his wife — I'm talking about simple cheating; the stories of violence didn't come out until much later — doesn't mean his message was wrong. As for the Tawana Brawley circus: Al Sharpton was in on the hoax from the get-go; Sharpton KNEW it was a lie. Cosby, on the other hand, may have been too ready to believe the story, but he wasn't party to concocting the fraud.

Believe me, I am happy Cosby is going to prison, given that it seems apparent he did drug and rape at least a few women. However, I do give him credit for pushing a message of, “Work hard; get married.”

One more thing: has anybody out there seen the show “Blackish”? Well, it's disgusting how the show pushes the message that it's normal and healthy for teenagers to be having sex as soon as they turn sixteen. That was NOT the message of The Cosby Show. On Cosby, the character of Denise was a virgin when she got married. Blackish’s black family is stridently pro-premarital sex, pro-abortion, and anti-Trump. Bill Cosby may not have been “conservative”, but conservatives should mourn his downfall.
