Thanks!
I don't live near the hurricane, but noticed the timing with this week's Torah portion (Noach, the flood, endings and beginnings). Also Oct 9/10 was the end/beginning [of the months].
Michael (as a new low pressure area) was first observed on Oct 2, the day the Torah cycle ended and began anew.
I mentioned the above because Michael shows up at the beginning of the end. Heaven or hell - everlasting life or everlasting contempt:
Dan 12
1. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who has charge of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time; but at that time your people shall be saved, every one whose name shall be found written in the book:
2. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt:
3. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars for ever and ever:
4. But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase:
The "First Man" is due out tomorrow, on the original Columbus day. The command module was named Columbia, and Columbia is the old nickname/*personification* for America. Columba means "dove"...
... when the weekly Torah reading involves the first dove of the Bible and the covenant to not destroy again the earth with a flood.
The symbolism overkill reads like it is the time for a complete healing from heaven, a new beginning. An olive branch, and much needed rebuilding and restoration.
Thanks for reading. Take good care.

I don't agree with many of the things that Joan says and does, but for some reason, I've always liked her version of this old Spiritual, which was one of her very early recordings (before she went totally bonkers I guess).
