We trust the Lord.

BTW, my wife’s first husband dies in his late 20’s of leukimia, leaving her with three kids under the age of 8 and no life insurance.

I too trust the Lord. But I don’t regret signing on to part B. If bad things happen to your or your wife, you can still avail yourself of part B coverage at a higher cost. Good luck to you and your wife.

Omgoodness. She went thru a whole lot. I recently had a bone marrow transplant for acute myeloid leukemia at this point, I probably have about a million $ of treatment. Something not even as serious can bankrupt a person. There was no time either. The day of diagnosis, I was hospitalized for a month for the first treatment. It’s not cheap. Can’t imagine what would have happened without my insurance. Well, actually I do - I wouldn’t be here because there’d be no transplant.
