Lincoln replaced Gen. George McClella with Grant for one reason:
“He fights.”
Grant went on to lead the Union to victory against Lee. Anyone who has ever visited Appomattox Courthouse will know this, So Trump’s comments are historically accurate. And in their failed effort to make Trump look like a fool, the mainstream “reporters” once again have displayed their own insipid foolishness.
umm, no, McClellan was not replaced with Grant. Burnside replaced McClellan. Grant didn’t come east until much later.
