The previous president appointed 37.5% of the federal judiciary (325 judges: 2 Supremes, 55 Circuit Court judges, and 268 District Court judges), so Trump has a long way to go (currently at 84 judges) to get near those numbers. But 30+ Trump judges will hopefully be confirmed in the lame duck session (as stated by McConnell), which would put Trump on a faster pace.

The figures above do not include tax courts, the veterans affairs court, etc., on which there are a few dozen judges.

There are 179 Circuit Court positions and 678 District court positions in total.
