McConnell and the Senate are playing President Trump with just enough confirmations to keep him from screaming. There is no reason to not push through the entire slate of pending confirmations. Do a simple up/down voice vote and move on. It’s politics and they don’t want to lessen their importance as senators, nor give President Trump too big of a victory. Lost in this is the American people that need these people confirmed and in their jobs tomorrow.

Maybe they think : Having the term “obstructionist” to use in the coming election Is worth having a few weeks delay
