Pollster Zogby: Dem House win ‘far from certain, elusive,' Senate 'nearly impossible'
Washington Examiner ^ | October 13, 2018 | Paul Bedard

Posted on 10/13/2018 5:31:51 AM PDT by BobL

This week’s White House Report Card finds President Trump still riding high after the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and buoyed by reports that Democrats have not locked down control of the House.

Democratic pollster John Zogby, who gave the president a B+ in this week’s report card, said that it is “nearly impossible” for the Democrats to win the Senate. And worse, he said that winning the House remains “elusive” despite predictions that a “blue wave” will give the Democrats a nice majority cushion.

What I want to know is WHICH REPUBLICAN(S) are paying Senator Schumer to throw this entire election our way. He's making Pelosi look competent...which is NOT easy.

Now we should worry. Zogby is always wrong.

None of the lefty pollsters will admit it, but November 6 will be a bloodbath for the Dem flagburning babykillers. Read my tagline.

The House win is becoming impossible and Democrats hopes for this will be reduced to ashes by the end of next week. The big GOP October surprise war machine is revving up.

I love the way you think and you are right GOP surges are always underreported by the liberal propaganda machine.

Love your tag. I didn’t think there was anyone more optimistic than me. I am thinking the Rs lose 4 House but end with 60 Senators. I say end because the Rats will hold at least 2 up in Court.

Senate is in the bag. We need to concentrate on the House.

Imagine the temper tantrums if the Dems don’t win the House. The ironic thing is that the newest crop of “stars” will move them even further left. Old White people like Pelosi, who still gives lip service to the fact that the US is a capitalist country, will be kicked out of the moving car.

I agree. If they don’t win the House this time, Chicago 1968 will look like a walk in the park. And the end result will be a violent, Leftist, fringe running the party, which will no longer be a national party (i.e., only winning in the relative handful of deep blue areas, if that).

If your tag line holds the Dems will just disband their party.

I already voted. So Rick Scott and Ron Desantis each have at least one vote.

I currently have the House at a D gain of +8-14 after now FOUR GOP flips.

That leaves them 9-15 seats short.

Will the panhandle hurricane affect turnout?

I hope the hurricane disruption doesn’t cost the GOP Panhandle votes. My guess is that what it will do is simply rearrange votes from absentee/early to election day.

And ironically it might cost Gillum’s Island some votes from Tallahassee.

Yes and no. Certainly it will interfere with people’s lives and almost certainly, if they were voting absentee or early-walk in, they won’t.

But give them 2.5 more weeks and they may go vote on election day. Also, while this hurts both Scott and DeSantis in the Panhandle, it also hurts Gillum’s Island in Tallahassee.

Small consolation.

Here's hoping that a caravan of steamrollers is following closely behind...
