The “Neocon” post 9/11 strategy is a pro-Saudi anti-Iran one that fits Saudi interests.
I’m not buying it simply because Turkey is pushing the issue. Turkey hasn’t the gravitas to be outraged about anything.
It seem’s the Saudi’s are trying to turn the corner, and they aren’t any worse than the rest of the bunch.
