I also lived in Iran for two years including during the fall of the Shah. Iran is the biggest state sponsor of terrorism. They have killed Americans in Saudi Arabia (Khobar Tower bombing), Iraq, Lebanon, and elsewhere. Iran is evil. The only solution is regime change.

Whatever the disputed claims of Iranian complicity in attacks on Americans overseas, Sunni radicals, including many Saudis, have attacked American civilians IN AMERICA. Iran is no beacon of enlightenment, but the terrorism that kills men, women and children in America and Europe overwhelmingly comes from Iran's enemies, not Iran.

The difference is that the Iranian government is behind these attacks. The Saudi government and specifically the King was not behind 9/11 no matter how many tin foil haters say so. There are Sunni and Shi'a radicals. Radical Islam is not the exclusive province of one faction of Islam.

Ask Israel who is behind Hezbollah and Hamas. Until there is regime change in Iran, radical Islamic terrorism will continue. AQ targeted the Saudi Royal family. Read OBL's 1996 and 1998 fatwahs.

The leaders of the Hamburg cell that attacked the US on 9/11 were two Syrians...one directly linked to Syria’s intel agency.

The lead hijacker was Egyptian with Syrian connections.

Bin Laden’s AlQaeda cofounder Zawahiri is an Egyptian with ties through marriage to one of the mullahs in Iran, and is now the head of al Qaeda, having never really been sought as a target by the Iran-loving Obama administration.

Iran, not Saudi Arabia, is where al Qaeda fled after they were riven from Afghanistan, while Zarqawi the Jordanian fled to Iraq where he estabished a terrorist cell in Baghdad composed mostly of Egyptians with ties to the Blind Sheikh’s terrorist group Gamaah Islammiyah… and also established terrorist cells in northern Iraq on Iran’s border at points where Zarqawi’s smuggling trails through Iran from Pakistan made it feasible. These operatives were supplied with recruits from all over. From these points- protected by Iran and yet with Iraqi regime cooperation and joined by the forces of the Norway-based mullah Krekar- whose recruits came to Iraq through Syria- they launched attacks on Kurds in Iraq who were opposed to Saddam Hussein, specifically targeting their leaders in an effort to deny the US allies in the buildup to the invasion of Iraq.

Zarqawi’s group merged with Krekar’s [some of whose leaders were Iraqi intel people] ; after the invasion, they ultimately also merged with deposed Iraqi regime intel figures, and formed al Qeada-in-Iraq... and after Saddam was executed they formed ISIS under Zarqawi’s leadership ...and Iraq’s intel leader General al Douri and son formally swore the bayat to Zarqawi.

Meanwhile the Egyptian alQaeda leader Zawahiri had a brother who was stirring up revolution in Egypt with the help of a bunch of western leftwingnuts and Google execs.
