That would be Walmart.
My local Walmart saw a guy get busted taking deliberate upskirt photos of a young shopper. Someone else took a very clear photo of him doing it!
He was publically ID'd in the news media but I'm not sure he was charged with a crime. A middle-aged white guy with teen daughters of his own. Reputation destroyed because he couldn't refrain from being a pervert.
Target, where I prefer to shop, doesn't have the freaks that Walmart does.
That mirror on top of the toe of the shoe is a real tip-off.
except for that ONE beer
And the selfie stick suddenly seems obviously capable of being put to nefarious purposes.
Have you shopped at an Academy store?
Every one that I've shopped seem to have unisex dressing rooms. They aren't even clearly marked as dressing rooms, in some stores....they're in the middle of the store, with a rack for hanging clothes that you don't want, at the entrance of the rooms.
That is a sickening story.
I think most dressing rooms these days are unisex. Single occupancy and fully partitioned, it doesn't really make business sense to have them designated by sex.
IF!!! they are fully partitioned, with locking doors, yes. Just like many restaurants are now doing (unfortunately), with their restrooms.
Also, an employee should be stationed, at the entrance of said dressing rooms, as well.
Btw.....as per the linked article, and witnessed by many Texans, the unisex Academy dressings rooms are NOT fully partitioned. That’s how creepy guy got his hand holding cam, over to her dressing room.
I think the attraction is the voyeurism and invasion (penetration) of someone’s privacy, maybe a bit of power-tripping because there is an element of power transfer in it as well.
Basically they are substituting a symbolic act because they are incapable of achieving the real one, for whatever reason.
