I believe that to be so. A few years ago here in Minnesota there was talk of requiring photo id to vote. The people who run nursing homes went nuts saying that would mean these old elderly people wouldn’t be able to get an id therefore wouldn’t be able to vote. Bull.
Texas sends out voter registrations in their annual Medicaid renewal packets for nursing home residents with dementia. My Aunt got one.
