I wonder if McCarthy has seriously changed his tune now that Ryan is exiting. He seemed to go along when leadership was stalling funds for the wall over the past few years.
After years of immigration remaining the #1 concern of voters, you'd think they'd get the message. It's their key to legislative success.

I am wary of anyone in the house leadership doing anything right now, solely because the prize of Speaker of the House is up for grabs. So expect to see disingenuous proposals coming forward to try and attract conservative support.

Newt the Poot is as big a Swamp Critter as they come. He cannot be trusted. His Contract for America passed 8 of 10 of it’s promises. He NEVER introduced the Balanced Budget Amendment or Term Limits. He said he didn't’have the votes. SO WHAT. The object of voting on those bills would have been to identify the talkers from the doers. We needed to know the names of those RINOs who would have voted against the bills. Then we could have replaced them with conservatives. DO NOT SUPPORT McCARTHY. Jim Jordan is the real deal.
