Over the past decade, Jared Kushners family company has spent billions of dollars buying real estate. His personal stock investments have soared. His net worth has quintupled to almost $324 million.
And yet, for several years running, Mr. Kushner President Trumps son-in-law and a senior White House adviser appears to have paid almost no federal income taxes, according to confidential financial documents reviewed by The New York Times.

I knew after the Rosenstein McCabe memos (wear a wire) that if it was from Mueller we would see more. Likely Mueller leaks in the last 3 weeks: -Rosenstein McCabe memos -Trump family estate tax planning -Gates bot strategy for Repub Convention -Peter Smith Clinton emails pursuit -Kushner taxes
I know that Rosenstein and DOJ can see this. If RR is the rule of law guy he claims to be, he needs to apply "by the book" sanctions to DOJ prosecutors who are illegally leaking confidential info.

Apparently they don’t understand the meaning of CONFIDENTIAL FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS.
Does the NY Times know tax law? I am sure that with the high profile that these people have and the monetary amounts that they deal with they are surely under the FBI’s scope all of the time.
Stopped reading at “followed existing tax law,” I love that the NYT thinks it’s the new police, IRS and, apparently, temperance movement.
No taxes paid? Is Jared the ultimate buy and hold investor ?
It’s not against the law to not pay taxes.
It’s against the law to not file.
“Nothing in the documents suggests Mr. Kushner or his company broke the law.” Point at which a real editor should have looked at this Drucker joker and said “you need a who, what, where and why to your story, son. There’s no what with this very true sentence in your story. Go back to the drawing board.”
I am sure all his deductions were legal.
My dream is for Pub victories in both the House and the Senate, followed by a purging of resisters in the government and prosecution of the leakers, schemers, liars, etc.
Wailing, gnashing of teeth, rending of clothes, etc.
Well....It's a good thing they were confidential...
BTW, did Al Sharpton ever pay that court judgment against him?
Excellent legal tax planning.
+A
If you are a conservative or merely an opponent of progressivism, you can trust NO ONE in government or America’s elite circles. They will betray all of your secrets.
Start arresting the Times people with stolen tax records.
The Rats howled when Podesta’s Emails were released. They said the Leaker was the problem, not what the Emails revealed.
Now they release Confidential IRS Documents exposing a Private Citizen’s Finances and they are lauded for breaking the Law.
The Politics of Envy and Hate overrule the Law every time as long as the People damaged are the Enemy of the Left.
Of course we all know that Jared is a typical NYC Liberal, but his ties to the POTUS negate that.

“How much tax does Warren Buffett pay? He claims he pays less than his secretary. Why doesn’t the NYT investigate that?”
One reason might be that Mueller’s gang has not illegally leaked tax info about Buffett.
I don’t know if this will be ever really exposed. But “impeccable integrity” Mueller is actually a legend spinner who is one of the dirtiest cops around.
It's also against the law for unauthorized persons to access confidential tax records.
