Public Health Minister Steve Brine said the Government was “willing to do whatever it takes to keep children healthy and well in this country.”

Well.... ‘willing to do whatever’ doesn’t seem to include dental care.

? Most recent WHO figures show DFMT dental health index for the US was 1.2 in 2004 (most recent year shown). For the UK in the same year it was 0.7. (DFMT is the number of decayed, missing or filled teeth - i.e. lower number is better).
