After the Gosnell Movie I saw many grim faces with some crying. One of the things that struck me was how many crimes Gosnell got away with because of being an abortionist. Even when they caught him writing prescriptions for drug addicts at the beginning he was not arrested. He goes and does an abortion while the DEA and others are raiding the filthy clinic.

Crime after crime was discovered, yet Gosnell was free to walk around for days and boldly take some of the evidence to hide it. When he finally got arrested Gosnell still almost got away with everything. He just barely got convicted with a mountain of evidence against him.

The fact that an African-American abortionist got convicted of anything, or even went to trial in Philadelphia is nothing short of miraculous.

If this had been a fictional script it would have been criticized for being outlandishly implausible.
