One time I heard Buzz Aldrin on Art Bell, he talked about the broken circuit breaker in Apollo 11's LM as no big deal, and went on to add that when flying, back on Earth, with ordnance in a non-combat operations, the pilot generally turns the circuit breakers to "off" to help avoid any untoward "accidents".
Don't know what the maintenance guy did.

That's what I was wondering. If you're doing maintenance on a weapons system like this why was the plane loaded with ammunition?
