Romney didn’t start the ‘neverTrump’ movement, but he didn’t hesitate to jump in front of the parade when he sought recognition. Truth is, people don’t and never will see Romney as a natural leader at anything. I suppose he’s still getting credit for running the Olympics, but that’s about the only credible claim to true leadership that he can properly claim.

Boy, the standard-bearers for the Republican Party since Reagan were just unbelievably awful until Trump. Bush I, Dole, Bush II, McCain, Romney. When you can honestly say that Dole is the best of the bunch . . . wow.
He may have never led it, but he sure as hell was a big part of it.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Romney was somehow mixed up with the dossier fiasco.
