Lesley Stahl’s interview with Trump was an undeniable get; he’d been scarce on mainstream media since around the time he appeared on tape with NBC’s Lester Holt and indicated he’d fired former FBI Director James Comey in part due to the Russia investigation.
But the interview seemed governed by two motives, both of which played into the hands of a media-savvy President whose refusal to play by typical rules of engagement has been at the center of his rise.

Yes, that is what Scott Adams says in his book about Trump, Winning Bigly. It’s a great book if you focus on the parts about Trump and ignore Adams’ whacko mystic, sci fi ideas.

Funny, that is how I usually describe the 60 minutes interviews. Only surprise is that Trump overwhelmed their dim reporter

That’s a great idea! Also, doing that, at least the first time, would make people focus on her even more; they’d have to think. McCain could be Mr. No-Name, and Ford could be Ms. No-Name.

Actually is it your problem. Events within the world politic affects us all whether we like it or not.
The world is too interconnected to believe that events overseas are of no importance at home and vice versa.
