This is a dem ad from a group called Nail Communications that has old white people telling young people not to vote.
Dear Young People, "Don't Vote"
I don't believe that the ad is very effective, but it shows the true mind of the democrat party.
Shredding the nation by pitting identity groups against each other.
How many Amendments to the Constitution are there?
When you divide folks up you can contextually pander to them and throw them under busses freestyle.
Unfortunately those that think they know it all vote DemocRat. If only they could understand that they are too foolish to understand facts and make rational informed decisions before they vote.
I'm ashamed to say I didn't know, but I do now, thanks to being challenged on Free Republic!
Yeah, no one could ever accuse them of being hypocrites. /s
Democrats? Party of division...Party of crime...
They have nothing else to run on.
Republicans vote on Nov. 6. Demonrats vote on Nov. 7.
Me too. I had to look it up. Ugh. Love the free Republic challenge.
I wonder how many Seniors will react to older folks being portrayed as baddies who encourage youngins not to vote. This may backfire on the Dems.
Still pushing the whole “party of the old, white people” thing, are they?
It was submitted by the 1st Congress to the states for ratification on September 25, 1789, along with eleven other proposed amendments. While ten of these twelve proposals were ratified in 1791 to become the Bill of Rights, what would become the Twenty-seventh Amendment and the proposed Congressional Apportionment Amendment did not get ratified by enough states for them to also come into force with the first ten amendments.
The proposed congressional pay amendment was largely forgotten until 1982, when Gregory Watson, a 19-year-old sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin, wrote a paper for a government class in which he claimed that the amendment could still be ratified. A teaching assistant graded the paper a "C" and an appeal to Professor Sharon Waite failed, motivating Watson to launch a nationwide campaign to complete its ratification. The amendment eventually became part of the United States Constitution, effective May 5, 1992, completing a record-setting ratification period of 202 years, 7 months, and 10 days
Liberals on Facebook love this dopey fluff piece, with its anger masquerading as humor. They keep passing it around, thinking it deep and clever, even funny, but its just pissy and bitter.
Tell them it’s OK for them to vote. If they’re under 30, Election Day is on Wednesday.
I agree. That's why I think it's not very effective. I think it's not going to change anyone's opinion, and it's probably more likely to piss off older democrats.
