That's like the celebs that go live with the homeless for 2 or 3 days and claim to know what it's like. These ICE folks live it daily for years. If they say it isn't safe, pretty sure they're right.

I worked down there in the oil patch.
There were places you just didn’t want to be after dark....and during daylight, situational awareness was absolutely necessary.
It is NOT a safe place to “pitch a tent”, but I can’t think of a better place to stick the news media for a few days....LOL
