What I see in this ad, (beyond the shameless desperate fear-mongering) are two candidates who each supported and defended Democracy on two separate fronts.
While you were bravely fighting in the Middle East, Congressman, what were you fighting for? Presumably the same as you are in Washington - to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Which includes the due process that Wallace’s donations helped to support. If we as a country do not extend core democratic values to ALL - including those who were accused of terrorist and held at Guantanamo (or, rather, NOT accused since many were held for years without trial or even charges filed), we lose our moral standing in the world and allows our enemies to point to our judicial system as not being fair and just but rather used as a weapon against certain people’s and religions. Such policy gives those whom you were fighting against a propaganda point to recruit for their cause and foment anger against the USA - which makes us all - including and especially our military - less safe.

The comments are that Marquez refused press interviews. I supported Marquez’ Republican challenger Brandon Martin, a Constitutionalist upstart. He did well agaist her. She is NOT a warm fuzzball.
He’s not running against Dingbat Waters; he’s running I think in the 26th district, which is Ventura County, against another ‘Rat dingbat, Julia Brownley.
Waters’ opponent is Omar Navarro. Waters’ district is adjacent to LAX airport and includes cities such as Inglewood. If you are from this area, vote for Omar!!!
