Heading back to the ship docked at the Subic pier from Olongapo with a belly full of San Miguel (Philippines, not Manilla) the barbequed monkey meat on sticks was out-fcking-standing. Only a P or two for two sticks with three or four hefty chunks per stick.
You sure you were eating monkey?
Some said it was dog!
So, I never ate any “monkey” meat in the PI, that I know of!
