Used to see it all of the time lurking at DUmmieland years ago. A person would introduce themselves to the board as a Christian or second amendment supporting Democrat. They never lasted long. But I do understand what I hope this woman now sees. Democrats are dangerous, vile and will cause you grievous harm if you disagree with them.

I know quite a few working-class, Catholic whites here in the Northeast who still want to identify with the Democrat Party. Most are just conflicted or don’t think about it deeply.

Of course. It’s possible to be anything. I have a good friend who is gay. He’s also pro small government, pro 1st Amendment, for personal freedoms, strong on defense and borders. His whole life doesn’t have to be about his sexual orientation. There are no “perfect” voters or candidates.

Interesting. The extreme Left has seized control, and will drive out anyone who voices a viewpoint which is not 100% Leftist line: abortion rights, transgender rights, open immigration, etc. You are not allowed to disagree with any part of their progressive platform.
Henry Hewes switched his party to Democrat so he could give pro-life Democrats a choice in the New Hampshire primary for president. He did it in 2016 and at least once before, I think 2008.
