A Pew Research survey conducted late last month showed that 75 percent of Republicans considered illegal immigration to be the highest-ranked national problem, while only 19 percent of Democrats thought so.

The article buries this at the end.

The problem is ILLEGAL 'immigration'.

I remember when Rove used CA for a model why immigration was a loosing issue for the GOP.
People tried to tell him that it was because the MSM in CA white washed the message to spin it their direction.

Rove was an overpriced fool.

“immigration has been politically weaponized”

Translation: This is an issue that works against us.
(”us” being understood by “journalists” to mean the Democratic Party)

Had Paul Ryan not been an open border freak the midterms would be a walk in the park.

BOTH parties have been encouraging the illegal alien inundation while keeping the citizens from doing anything to stop it.

We finally have a President willing to enforce the laws and borders.

We have a small window of time while President Trump is in office to restore the rule of law and secure the border.
Removing Bush League Republicans from office is vital over the next three election cycles.

The Democrats are more focused on getting men into girls' restrooms.

Seventy-five percent of Americans say they believe immigration, in general, is good for the country, according to a Gallup poll released earlier this year.

If the questions included a statement of how many immigrants are allowed to come the US legally each year (1.1 - 1.5 million plus work visas in the hundreds of thousands) I think the answers would be significantly different.

You seldom see the numbers mentioned when these general questions are asked.

There is no debate. Come in legally
or don’t come at all. It’s not
political for me. It’s MY country,
MY state, My county, MY city, MY
home.
