The author repeats the lie the test proved “some” Native American ancestry. No Native American DNA was involved in the test. The researcher used proxies for Native American blood.
One can hope Linsday Graham’s test will show he has real Native American DNA and more than the researcher projected for Ms. Warren. If so, Trump will be able to once again flog this potential Dem 2020 opponent.

"The author repeats the lie the test proved some Native American ancestry."After blurting out that I couldn't possibly read an article that started out so stupidly, I scanned it pretty thoroughly, anyway. Glad you pointed this out -- had similar thoughts, myself...

The author also repeatedly claims that Warren was hired by Harvard solely on her merits, and that her claiming of native American Heritage was of after-the-fact interest to Harvard.
The author's only bone to conservatives is to acknowledge that someone with a very distant claim to ethnic ancestry ought not be the one to take the "first of" title.
