Mr. Lopez is a jackass, but if the information in this excerpt is accurate, the other guy was lying in wait to ambush him when he is going to dinner.
It’s wrong when leftist confront Sarah Sanders or Ted Cruz, and just as wrong when this guy confronted Lopez.
There is a time and place for protests/heckling. On stage, commenting on politics, Lopez is fair game, but dinner time in a restaurant is neither the time or place.
That’s true, but compare how López reacted to how people on the right responded under similar circumstances. Mad Max Waters and her ilk have been encouraging their minions to confront those on the right. Obviously they can dish it out but they can’t take it.
Its wrong of course. But you can’t deny the emotional gratification seeing a leftwing lowlife made uncomfortable. Face it the Left will continue to use this tactic and some will retaliate in kind.
Kind of surprised it took just over ten replies for someone to make a very valid point.
An equally valid point is that it was for Hooter’s staff to remove the disruptive person, not for Lopez to lay a hand on him.
Hopefully there’s a nifty civil suit by the heckler who was battered and also a gift from Hooters for the heckler - a no trespass order baring them from any company properties, anywhere.
They changed the rules, they get to live with them too.
