“”In a hearing Wednesday afternoon, federal magistrate judge Theresa Buchanan released Edwards on her own personal recognizance on Wednesday, subject to the custody of her parents. She and her parents also signed a $100,000 bond as part of her release. Edwards, who appeared in court wearing street clothes, faces two charges, each one carrying a maximum sentence of five years and a $250,000 fine. She is due back in court Nov. 2.””

40 years old and in the custody of her parents? She must be one responsible individual - just the kind we like receiving a paycheck from us, the taxpayers.

Throw the book at her - each count = $500,000 fine and 10 years in prison. Hope she’ll be proud of her “whistle blower” status... As I understand the article, anyone in her role as an employee is to watch for such transactions for money laundering and report it - BUT NOT TO THE PRESS! Clearly, she didn’t understand the rules of the job!

AND not even fired - how do you like that? Stinks!

All it means is they paid her bail...not that she is living in her folks' basement. If she had a bail bondsman it would have said custody of the bondsman.
