I fear we are past the point where jail time fixes this. A bloody war is in the wind. Sniff and you can sense it coming. Coexistence is no longer an option with “political opponents” - they oppose a civil society, and unashamedly so. Only one response will suffice to counter this activity. Think rabid dogs and you begin to appreciate what will be necessary.
von Clausewitz famously said that war is “politics by other means.” When political solutions are impossible to be found, war is the only answer, unfortunately.
We on the right did not ask for this new civil war. We did not promote violence against candidates or voters. The left did and still does.
